A Russian Proton-M rocket launched tonight from Baikonur in Kazakhstan at 21:46 UTC, May 15th 2014. The rocket carried the Ekspress-AM4R communications satellite. Ekspress-AM4R for the Russian Satellite Communications Company has 30 C-Band, 28 Ku-Band, 2 Ka-band and 3 L-band transponders to provide coverage over all of Russia.
