[Proton-M] Launch of Turksat 4A on Russian Proton-M Rocket

A Russian Proton-M rocket successfully launched this evening from Baikonur in Kazakhstan at 21:09 UTC, February 14th 2014 with the Turksat 4A satellite onboard.

Turksat 4A will be positioned at 42 degrees East providing high powered TV broadcasting to Turkey as well as Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
