US joins search for abducted Nigerian girls

The fate of hundreds of schoolgirls held captive in Nigeria, is quickly becoming the focus of an international outcry. First, the Islamist group Boko Haram kidnapped more than 270 girls from their school in Chibok last month. Now, news of a raid on a village - and eight more abducted from their own homes on Sunday night. Families have been calling for help for weeks, but it seems this video is what caught the world's attention. In it, the rebel leader claims responsibility for kidnapping the girls, and threatens to put them on the slave market. Now, the United States is sending a team to help with the search, and the United Nations says what's happened is an outrage, and could be considered a crime against humanity. Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Washington.
