Survey finds British gamers have some serious addiction issues

Some very official sounding polling has been done by the UK branch of the Domino's Pizza conglomerate on the lifestyles of avid video gamers. And of course who better to ask these burning questions to gamers than what is most likely a gamer's first choice in foodstuffs: they know their market well, we think.

The survey has uncovered some not-so-surprising data, but still nonetheless make you go hmm ...

For example, half of all male gamers have turned down sex for fragging. Unbelievable, we think. Some report not turning up to loved ones' funerals because they were too busy trying to level up in Final Fantasy.

Women aren't exempt in the poll either — more of them totally ditch their friends in order to get in a gaming session. A number of female respondents also reported not showing up to weddings because they were too busy trying to save the princess.

The most comical, albeit pathetic group of those polled reported trying in vain to put off the call of nature, only to relieve themselves in a handy drink container positioned nearby ... Wow.

You know, there's a pause button on the controller for a reason.
