Dual car bombs hit Syrian town

Chaos in the Syrian city of Homs after twin car bombs exploded on a busy street.

There are conflicting reports on the number of casualties.

A group that monitors the violence in syria said at least 21 people were killed.

The Syrian state news agency "SANA" puts the number of dead at 25.

"SANA" said the first bomb went off near a sweet shop along the busy road. The second one went off near by about half an hour later.

Women and children were among the dead.

The conflict in syria has claimed more than 150-thousand lives over the past three years.

Video from a social media website purports to document recent heavy fighting between syrian rebels and government forces across the country.
