California teacher Melissa Lindgren admits to sexting, molesting students

A junior high teacher in Fullerton, California was arrested on Friday on suspicion of sexually molesting two male students and sexting them.
Melissa Lindgren, 28, was accused of sexually molesting two male students during class and sending them inappropriate texts and nude photos of herself.
Lindgren was taken into custody just hours after the two students approached their counselor to report her transgressions. Lindgren admitted to the accusations but offered no explanation as to why she did what she did.
Lindgren is charged with child molestation, child annoyance and dissemination of harmful matter to a minor. It is unclear whether this was an isolated incident or if it was something that has occurred regularly over the six years Lindgren had been with the school.
Concerned parents' calls flooded the school district. District Superintendent Bob Pletka told the Los Angeles Times that "ultimately, we will pursue termination, and it is an administrative law judge who makes that decision. But she will not be teaching with our kids at our district."
Lindgreen has been placed on administrative leave since her arrest.
