Tokyo-New York flight diverted to Alaska after passenger goes 'berserk'
A commercial jetliner flying from Tokyo to New York was diverted to Anchorage, Alaska, early on Monday after a passenger on the flight went "berserk" and had to be tied to his seat by flight attendants.

Nobuya Michael Ochinero, was reportedly unruly from the very moment he boarded All Nippon Airways Flight 10. Ochinero allegedly caused a ruckus; yelling and screaming incessantly, spitting on the floor and hitting the backs of other passengers' seats.

Flight attendants tried in vain to calm Ochinero down before two passengers eventually helped subdue him and sat guard. An announcement was eventually made that the flight was being diverted to Alaska. Ochinero was arrested by federal agents and police officers upon arrival at Anchorage's international airport.

After refuelling, the plane continued on its way to the Big Apple and arrived just over six hours later than scheduled. No crew members or passengers were injured in the incident.
