Taiwanese model posts suicide attempt video on Facebook

Wong Yu-cheng (翁雨澄) is a 22-year-old Taiwanese model blessed with a nice figure, but sadly it seems, not so blessed with mental health. Despite seeming to have everything going her, Wong uploaded a bloody video showing her cutting into her own wrist.
Alongside the video, Wong posted a comment saying she no longer wished to live due to severe feelings of 'frustration.'
Wong, who is still a university student, is known for her love of dogs and keeps five pet dogs at home.
Last Friday she posted a status on Facebook complaining that she was being unfairly accused of trying to steal her friend's boyfriend.
Shortly thereafter, she posted another status update confessing that she had taken out her anger on one of her dogs, saying she beat the animal for close to 30 minutes until the dog lost control of its bladder.
Wong's Facebook friends and other netizens then left harsh comments on her page, condemning her cruel behavior. Some also suggested she see a shrink.
Wong tried to make amends by posting a collection of pictures showing her playing with and being kind to her pets, but the online condemnation of her earlier acts seem to have hit her hard.
Later that evening, Wong uploaded a sequence of pictures and videos showing her cutting her wrist, while posting comments seeking forgiveness from the public.
Wong was sent to the hospital after more than 50 web users called the police to report her suicide attempt.
Experts say people suffering from depression should first try to find ways to make their lives more meaningful and happy, but should the problem persist, doctors recommend speaking with a trained medical professional.
