Gustav Vigeland erstellte in der ersten Hälfte des neuen Jahrhunderts in Oslo einen einzigartigen Park, in dem er mit über 200 Bronze und Granitskulpturen das menschliche Leben darstellte. Der Dreiklang seiner Figuren von Geburt und Jugend, Familiengründung und Erwachsenendasein sowie Alter und Tod entspricht in verblüffender Form dem Dreiklang der drei Sätze des einzigen, weltberühmten Konzerts für Klavier und Orchester des neben Jean Sibelius bekanntesten skandinavischen Komponisten Edvard Grieg.
The film tells in the unique light and the special atmosphere of the snowy Vigelandparks human life as a pictorial interpretation of this piano concerto. Edvard Grieg and Gustav Vigeland are two of the great Norwegian artists at the turn of the 20th century.
Gustav Vigeland created in the first half of the new century in Oslo a unique park in which he portrayed human life with more than 200 bronze and granite sculptures. The triad of his figures of birth and youth, marry and adulthood and old age and death corresponds strikingly form the triad of the three sets of single, world-famous Concerto for piano and orchestra of the next Jean Sibelius famous Scandinavian composer Edvard Grieg.
