Train fire in southern India kills at least 23

At least 23 people, including two children, have died after a fire broke out on a train in southern India.
One passenger said the blaze engulfed one of the Nanded-Bangalore Express carriages, while it was travelling through Andhra Pradesh state.
(SOUNDBITE) (Telugu) A PASSENGER, RAVIKUMAR, SAYING:
"The fire broke out at 3.15 am. Two, three people sitting on the corner seats got out of the train and saw flames emerging from one of the coaches. They alerted everyone and we got down from the train."
Railway officials said more than 60 passengers are thought to have been on board.

"The fire has now been brought under control but there are causalities and as we now understand after the fire has been controlled, the authorities have gone inside the coach. They have been able to find 23 bodies."
