In Stockholm an attack by far-right extremists on demonstrators taking part in an anti-racism rally resulted in two stabbings and two injured police officers. .
Twenty-eight people were detained by police while the injured were taken to hospital.
The demonstrators had been protesting against the appearance of Nazi graffiti in the city.
A neo-Nazi group called the Swedish Resistance Movement claimed responsibility for the attack.
