?SELFIE-GATE??: AFP Photographer Gives Context to Misinterpreted Obama Memorial Photo

A recent photo of President Obama taking a selfie with other world leaders during the Nelson Mandela Memorial Service went viral with many media outlets reporting on it. It quickly spread across twitter, some giving the photo context without meaning. AFP photographer Roberto Schmidt later defended the leaders saying without context a picture doesn?t have meaning and photos can lie. Many also saying the memorial service was a celebration, not a somber funeral.
