He and two co-defendants were found guilty of an acid attack in January that nearly blinded the company's artistic director Sergei Filin, seen here leaving the hospital.

The dancer's lawyer said they're disappointed.

Dmitrichenko admitted he wanted Filin 'roughed up' but says he never agreed for his co-defendants who actually did the assault to use acid.

Filin's lawyer said his client was in Germany, preparing for one of dozens of surgeries he's undergone to save his eyesight.
