Stiller receives Hollywood honor, ballet dancer gets six years in prison

Ben Stiller sank his hands and feet into cement in the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday (December 03), to promote the release of his latest film, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Stiller was introduced by Tom Cruise, who appeared with him in "Tropic Thunder," which Stiller starred in, directed and co-wrote. The 48-year-old star also directed "Reality Bites," "The Cable Guy" and "Zoolander."

A Russian judge found former Bolshoi Ballet dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison for an acid attack that nearly blinded the artistic director of the troupe. After a month-long trial, which revealed bitter rivalries behind the scenes of the Bolshoi Theatre, the judge said the dancer and two co-defendants had intentionally caused grievous bodily harm to the victim.
