'Woof to Wash' Machine Powers on by Dog's Bark

The ‘Woof to Wash’ device is basically a washing machine that is quickly activated by a dog’s bark, thanks to a voice-activated switch.

Most may not realize that dogs can do almost any household duty. A new invention was recently introduced in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Called the ‘Woof to Wash’, it’s basically a washing machine with a voice-activated switch that responds to a dog’s bark.

The appliance also has a special button for a paw along with a rope which can be pushed and pulled down to allow a pooch to open and close the door. Detergent is automatically added for each wash from a bottle resting above the machine.

The inventor of the appliance , John Middleton claimed he wanted to help those who are disabled and make the assistance efforts of dogs easier in that process.

Middleton stated “Doing projects like this is mine, and my team’s true passion. We make our money from selling mainstream products, but it’s making bespoke products – like the Woof to Wash – that really excites us. The idea is to simply show what can be done – because the possibilities really are endless.”

Middleton partnered with the Support Dogs charity to make the dog operated washing machine a reality. How do you like the concept?
