Lawn mower accident at home amputated limbs of little girl

A little girl's legs were severed in a tragic lawn mower accident at her home in Tampa, Florida on Wednesday evening.

Her father, 47-year-old Jeremiah Nugent, was using the machine when his 2-year-old daughter, Ireland, ran out toward him. Failing to see her, Nugent continued to back up on the lawn mower, which severed Ireland's legs below the knees and injured her left hand. Doctors say the toddler will recover, and a group called 50legs.org is offering to help Ireland for the rest of her life by providing her with prosthetic limbs.
