Born in Jaipur, India, and now based in New York City, Prateek grew up playing the guitar and training vocally in Indian classical music. After weaving through diverse musical genres, he found a sense of direction after attending a jazz workshop in Prague where he began fusing different styles to reach his own sound.
His talents extend to playing the ukulele, drums, bass and harmonica, but they don't end there. His heartfelt lyrics artfully capture life's everyday thoughts and experiences, while his tunes and deep rhythms softly resonate within you. With his Debut EP releasing in July 2011 on Pagal Haina Records and upcoming gigs in town, this NYC performer is already a bright star in the world of music.
