Texas teenager bags 800-pound alligator

Braxton Bielski, 18, hooked and shot a record-breaking 800-pound alligator in Texas's Choke Canyon State Park.
Braxton's father, Troy, scored one of 10 available 5-day alligator hunting permits for the Daughtry Wildlife Management area. The Bielskis set up camp with a friend, and baited an area in Choke Canyon Reservoir with raw chicken. The giant alligator went for the bait, pulled the line under, and then men went after the beast from their boat. Once his head was at the surface, Braxton shot the creature his 20-gauge shotgun.
