Florida Woman Accused of Rape; Defends As ‘Rough Sex’

Following allegations made by her girlfriend Mia McCarthy of Lake Worth, Florida has been arrested on charges including sexual assault and attempted murder.
Following allegations made by her girlfriend, 23 year old Mia McCarthy of Lake Worth, Florida has been arrested on charges including sexual assault and attempted murder.
The 52 year old victim stated that on a recent evening the couple, who’d been dating about 9 months, went to a club in Delray Beach.
They smoked pot, but in addition to that McCarthy reportedly took kratom, a drug with an opiate-like effect.
Later that evening, the victim said she was raped with what deputes have identified as a ‘marital aid’. She was also hit, bitten, and scratched.
Further, she told authorities that McCarthy attempted to kill her by strangulation.
It was, according to the victim, the first time McCarthy, who has publicly described herself as a sadomasochist, got violent with her.
The incident came to the attention of authorities after the woman showed up at a help center for victims of sexual assault.
Following the report of the incident, McCarthy was questioned and alleged that the couple had engaged in ‘rough sex’ in the past.
There are conflicting reports on whether they used any safe words, but she allegedly admitted that her partner had asked her to stop.
McCarthy remains in jail, having not posted the 55 thousand dollar bail.
