Albuquerque woman Pamela Dearinger was sitting at home watching television one morning when a masked burglar entered her home. When he grabbed her, she ripped off his bandana, revealing that he was her 22-year-old grandson Thomas Clark. Clark still proceeded to knock her to the floor and steal her purse. Dearinger suffered cuts and bruises to her wrists and mouth. Police later apprehended Clark at his parents' house. He had planned to use the money he stole from his grandmother to fund a trip to a nearby casino.
