We are all permanently attached to our mobile devices and celebrities seem to be addicted even more so.

According to reports, a Texas-based theater company has decided to ban Madonna from its chain after the pop-star received a warning for texting during the New York Film Festival premiere of '12 Years A Slave'.

Madonna was reportedly tapped on the shoulder by a fellow patron and asked to put her phone away.

The singer didn’t seem to like being bothered and reportedly stated “'It's for business... ENSLAVER!' The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema company has a strict policy when it comes to conduct in theaters.

Patrons are not only banned from talking but they are also prohibited from texting during a screening. Any customer who violates the policy can be ejected from the cinema.

The incident was bought to the attention of Alamo founder and CEO Tim League, who posted his response on Twitter. League tweeted that Madonna would be banned from the company’s theaters until she issues an apology to movie fans.

Madonna has not responded to the accusation and subsequent reactions of film goers.
