A man in Sudden Valley, Washington is serving 20 days in jail for threatening a pregnant woman who was smoking. The incident happened in September of 2012, when 25-year-old, Justin Palmer, stopped his Dodge pickup truck to confront an 8-month pregnant lady who was walking down the street smoking a cigarette.

Palmer rolled down his window and inquired “Who the heck smokes when they're pregnant?”. The woman’s blunt reply was “Obviously. I do”.

An argument ensued between the two. Palmer reportedly called the female a white trash prostitute and ordered her to put out the butt.

The woman eventually walked away, but she later told police Palmer pulled out a gun from his truck and aimed it at her from about 10 feet away. The cops were contacted and officers soon located Palmer’s truck and pulled him over.

The suspect admitted to the confrontation but initially denied pulling out a gun. However police found two semiautomatic .45-caliber handguns in the center console of the vehicle.

On August 8th of this year, Palmer pleaded guilty to felony harassment. On top of spending nearly three weeks in jail, he must also surrender all of his guns.
