Indian Man Commits Suicide Over a Movie Release Delay

One man in India recently committed suicide over a delay in Indian actor Vijay's newest film called ‘Thalaivaa’.

The local film Industry in India is one of the largest in world with hundreds of millions of fans. Sadly, one man in India recently committed suicide over a delayed release of Indianactor Vijay's newest film called ‘Thalaivaa’.

The 20-year-old construction worker reportedly hung himself from a ceiling in a room of his own home. For the past five years, the male made it a point to view the first show of Vijay's films.

On the day of his suicide, he left at six in the morning to purchase the first show tickets for Thalaivaa. However, several hours later, the man learned the flick had not immediately been released.

He heard a rumor that the film was being shown in theaters in Palakkad, Kerala so he quickly headed there, but soon learned the movie had been delayed there too. Distraught, the fan returned home and hung himself.

Police have launched an investigation into the man’s death. Following the incident, actor Vijay has publicly pleaded with his fans to remain patient for the film’s release in those areas.
