Ancelotti's era in Madrid begins as he completes his first training session

Madrid, (Camera: Martín Carrasco), Jul 15 (EFE).- Carlo Ancelotti led his first training session as Real Madrid's new manager on Monday in an act that marked the beginning of a new era for the whites. Other new faces could be seen on the trining pitch, including players such as midfielders Asier Illarramendi and Casemiro, Francisco Alarcón "Isco" and defender Daniel Carvajal. Absent from the squad were players who partook in the Confederations Cup such as Íker Casillas, Raúl Albiol, Álvaro Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.

With this session, Madrid fans finally got a chance to se Ancelotti's coaching staff, composed of 13 specialists, in action. Zinedine Zidane also joined in after the warm-up to coordinate and explain exercises to one of the training groups.

This was the first session of Madrid's pre-season warm-up and allowed Ancelotti to begin preparing for the Club's upcoming tour which will take the team to England to play AFC Bournemouth after which they will travel to Ge
