In order to streamline the security deployment & emergency response, a new unit “Police Security & Emergency Services Division (PS&ESD)” has been established vide notification 13069-96/E-I/Karachi dated: 04-11-2019 Police Security & Emergency Services Division (PS&ESD) will work under the administrative & operational command of the Additional IGP Karachi & it will be headed by DIGP / Security & Emergency Services Division, Karachi. Following units will be under the command of DIG Security & Emergency Services Division (PS&ESD) Security – I Security – II Madadgar-15 / Muhafiz Force Foreign Security Cell (FSC) Special Security Unit (SSU) Private Security Agencies Cell Crowd Management Unit To help & facilitate the general public To restore the confidence of Public in Sindh Police To create peace and harmony in the Metropolitan To have co-operative attitude of public in war against terrorism To provide 24/7 response with re-organization of Madadgar-15 / Muhafiz Force To create collaboration between Police and other public departments To reduce the response time upto International standards
