propylaion - indie pop & indie funk from hamburg, germany.
"propylaion" is the greek word for a monumental gateway leading towards a sanctuary.
in 1995 four musicians started to create new music under this name without just copying the sound of english or american idols.

propylaion is not reinventing music
- their songs may remind you of the early u2, the red hot chilli peppers of the last years, paired with electronics, individuality and a lot of things you`ve never heard before.
their music is being played on the internet and fm radio,
they are reviewed in blogs and magazines,
sold internationally
- and now they play their songs live again.
