Peter Brian Gabriel est un auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique né le 13 février 1950. Il a d'abord connu la célébrité en tant que membre du groupe de Rock progressif Genesis, mais il a eu ensuite une longue et prolifique carrière solo après son départ du groupe en 1975 laissant la place de chanteur principal au batteur Phil Collins. Peter Gabriel est aussi un producteur de disques sur son label Real World. Il est depuis de nombreuses années impliqué dans différentes associations humanitaires.
Peter Brian Gabriel (born 13 February 1950, in Chobham,[1] Surrey, England) is an English musician. He first came to fame as the lead vocalist of the progressive rock group Genesis. After leaving Genesis, Gabriel went on to a successful solo career. More recently he has focused on producing and promoting world music and pioneering digital distribution methods for music. He has also been involved in various humanitarian efforts.
