00:02:25Miss Lewis, please stand.
00:02:40This is a serious crime, young lady.
00:02:46On the charge of accessory to the robbery of a pharmacy, you have been found guilty.
00:02:51I'm looking at your life, graffiti, vandalism, shoplifting.
00:03:02Not exactly heading in the right direction over Miss Lewis.
00:03:06No, sir.
00:03:08I think it's time that you start taking this a bit more seriously.
00:03:19You are hereby adjudicated a delinquent and a child in need of supervision.
00:03:26I sentence you to 30 days in juvenile detention center.
00:03:36However, I am willing to delay sentencing upon you spending 60 days at the Spirit Riders
00:03:47Equine Therapy Ranch.
00:03:51If you successfully complete the full 60-day period, I will bring you back into this courtroom
00:04:01and drop the charges.
00:04:0460 days.
00:04:08Your Honor, we greatly appreciate the generosity of your sentence.
00:04:12And we accept the offer to attend the Spirit Rider Ranch.
00:04:16Smart decision.
00:04:17Miss Lewis, I hope you make the best of the 60 days because you do not want to come back
00:04:32through my court again.
00:04:34Am I clear?
00:04:35Yes, sir.
00:04:53Lord, did we ever catch a break today.
00:04:56You, my friend, got lucky.
00:04:5860 days at a horse camp does not feel lucky.
00:05:02It is.
00:05:04Hey.
00:05:04Oh, look who decided to make it.
00:05:06Hey, Daddy.
00:05:07I was here.
00:05:08I was just in the back.
00:05:08Hey, that figures.
00:05:09Did you come alone or did you bring her?
00:05:13Hi, sweetheart.
00:05:15So 60 days on a horse ranch.
00:05:17Yeah, great.
00:05:19It's a hell of a lot better than Juby.
00:05:21Yeah, you act like you don't like horses.
00:05:23Can we just go?
00:05:26I used to, Dad, when I was a little kid.
00:05:42Come on, boys.
00:05:43Woo!
00:05:44Let's get some defense.
00:05:49I mean, they're just letting them all fire down the field.
00:05:56I always thought we would have been a great cheerleader.
00:06:00You got the legs full.
00:06:01Yeah, that is never going to happen.
00:06:04I can't believe this is how I'm spending my last night of freedom.
00:06:08Don't be so melodramatic when you're going to a horse camp or a prison.
00:06:12I'm going to go to the bathroom.
00:06:20Seriously?
00:06:20I can't even go to the bathroom?
00:06:22What do you want to do?
00:06:23Come with me and watch?
00:06:24If you're not back in five minutes, I'm going to come looking.
00:06:27Thanks for the little competence, Mom.
00:06:33You've got a lot of nerve, you know that?
00:06:48Did you cut it out?
00:06:49You left me.
00:06:50He was right behind you.
00:06:52I had to get out of here.
00:06:53You drove up right in front of me.
00:06:55What did you want me to do?
00:06:56Sit there and let you bolt into the car?
00:06:59Babe, I already got two strikes.
00:07:00I can't believe you.
00:07:01You're a jerk.
00:07:02Do you know that?
00:07:03Yeah, but you'd like me this way.
00:07:06Yeah, well, now I've got two months at some horse camp.
00:07:18What?
00:07:19Yeah, light me up.
00:07:21Therapy, huh?
00:07:25Yeah, because I'm a troubled team of issues.
00:07:29You got off so easy.
00:07:32No, I didn't.
00:07:33It was your fault.
00:07:34You'd have locked me up and then lost the key.
00:07:38You're the one who walked with us.
00:07:39I didn't.
00:07:42You know, I heard of these places.
00:07:45It's not like they grade you or nothing.
00:07:47All you got to do is show up.
00:07:49It's like being grounded with separate horses.
00:07:52That sounds great.
00:07:54You want me to come see you?
00:07:55There's no visitors allowed.
00:07:58Oh, are those the rules?
00:08:00Because I would never want to break them.
00:08:02Look, you don't want to go.
00:08:06Let's hop in my truck and get out of here.
00:08:08Tonight.
00:08:10Right now.
00:08:11I can't.
00:08:13And I'm always on the line.
00:08:14So?
00:08:15At least I get two months away from my mom.
00:08:20Text you.
00:08:22There's no phones allowed either.
00:08:24There you go with the rules again.
00:08:27Sneak it.
00:08:29Check it at night.
00:08:30We'll meet up.
00:08:33All right.
00:08:33And then I get back and get away.
00:08:38Keep running and never look back.
00:09:04I need to move.
00:09:09Ah!
00:09:11Tung jam!
00:09:13Speaking of tellingosh!
00:09:16Part one of his hjγk.
00:09:22Ah!
00:09:25We're going to lose.
00:09:25I've got to lose.
00:09:26Well, none of his boys die.
00:09:27We've worn a cigarette-
00:09:28All right, keep staying in the mood.
00:09:30We've got to be tested.
00:09:32I don't know.
00:10:02I have plans.
00:10:10You need to be there.
00:10:11I can't.
00:10:13Well, she's your daughter. Change your plans.
00:10:15Look, I wish I could, but I can't. I tried.
00:10:18You know darn well that's a lie.
00:10:21She just doesn't fit into your new life anymore, does she?
00:10:24That's not true.
00:10:25Okay, listen, listen. How is she doing with all this?
00:10:28I mean, are you two talking at all?
00:10:29We either start fighting or the conversation turns to him.
00:10:34I mean, I can't handle it anymore.
00:10:37She needs her dad.
00:10:38What do you mean?
00:10:38I mean, I'm at my wits end and I don't know what to do about it.
00:10:41I don't know. Maybe this horse camp thing will be good for her.
00:10:44You know we're going to get a call in a week.
00:10:46What is she going to mess this up to?
00:10:51Look, just give her a chance, please.
00:10:54Well, you know what?
00:10:55When we do, you're going to be the one to go get her because I'm not doing this by myself.
00:11:00By yourself? What are you talking about, Marlene?
00:11:02Do you realize I was there that night?
00:11:04You know, I lost my boy, too.
00:11:08No, no. It's not always just about you, okay?
00:11:12Oh, crap.
00:11:15Just, you know what?
00:11:17Be a father for once.
00:11:22Dang it.
00:11:23Casey, sweetie.
00:11:48Casey.
00:11:48I'm getting dressed.
00:11:49Well, is everything okay?
00:11:54God, Mom, I said I'm getting dressed.
00:11:55Can you give me some privacy?
00:11:57Well, I made you breakfast.
00:11:59Just come out and eat before it gets cold.
00:12:19I said I'm annoying you too, I said I was going somewhere.
00:12:22And then I put, I put, if I was going somewhere on the monitor, Iダ you know.
00:12:27I'm not.
00:12:30I don't need to talk.
00:12:35So far, I feel good.
00:12:41I'm not.
00:12:43I'm not.
00:12:43I'm not.
00:12:45I don't know.
00:12:46Welcome to The Freak Show.
00:13:07Hush, you don't know anything about these people.
00:13:09I know enough.
00:13:10I'm going to go out on a limb, but I'm guessing you're the only one here because of a court order.
00:13:14So I just climbed down off that throne, Miss High and Mighty.
00:13:24Your daddy would have been here, but he just, he had something come up.
00:13:27He couldn't get out of it.
00:13:28No, he didn't.
00:13:29He did.
00:13:30No, he didn't.
00:13:32I don't even know why you tried to defend him.
00:13:34He did leave you after all.
00:13:41Sorry.
00:13:43Hey.
00:13:44It's okay, right?
00:13:46Unless grown up to harass me.
00:13:49Look, you just need to make the best of the situation.
00:13:54Our family fortune doesn't afford us too many alternatives.
00:13:57Come on.
00:14:00Come on, let's go.
00:14:01Come on.
00:14:02Come on, let's go.
00:14:03Excuse me.
00:14:11You work here?
00:14:13Yes, ma'am.
00:14:14Neal Parker.
00:14:15Well, I'm just here to check in my daughter.
00:14:18You must be Casey.
00:14:19We've been expecting you.
00:14:20Neal.
00:14:20And you must be your mother.
00:14:23Yes, ma'am.
00:14:24Marlene Lewis.
00:14:27Is there anything I need to do?
00:14:29I need your signature right here.
00:14:30Okay.
00:14:40Is that the horses that they ride?
00:14:43No, ma'am.
00:14:45It's his first day, too.
00:14:46The horses that the campers are working with are much calmer.
00:14:53Okay.
00:14:53That's it.
00:14:54Well, let's get you settled in, Casey.
00:14:58Casey, honey.
00:15:00Hi.
00:15:01Hi.
00:15:01Can you just please stay out of trouble?
00:15:04Can you try?
00:15:04Love you too, Mom.
00:15:07Casey, I really am going to miss you.
00:15:10I don't know what I'm going to do with myself.
00:15:12I'm sure.
00:15:14You can call me if you need anything, okay?
00:15:18Please don't embarrass me.
00:15:20And she does it anyway.
00:15:22Please don't speak good, okay?
00:15:24Please stop.
00:15:26This is important.
00:15:29Wait.
00:15:30I'm going to go now.
00:15:33She'll be fine, ma'am.
00:15:35You have my word.
00:15:40Let's go.
00:15:52I assume you read the rules.
00:15:54Yeah.
00:15:57Which include no smoking.
00:16:00We have a lot of people here.
00:16:03Most of them with special needs.
00:16:05You understand?
00:16:06Got it.
00:16:08Keep your nose clean, do your job,
00:16:10and we'll get along just fine.
00:16:11I hope we can become the best of friends.
00:16:18You're bunking in here.
00:16:19Go on in, grab a bed, put your things down.
00:16:22Meet me at the stables in an hour.
00:16:24Yes, sir.
00:16:39Hey. Welcome to camp. This is your bed. Oh, there's not really a place for stuff. I have
00:17:01a storage bin I keep under my bed. If you want me to find you one, I can. A whole storage
00:17:07locker for me. You'd be surprised what a luxury that is around here. I'm Claire. Good
00:17:17for you. Okay, I get it. Well, it was nice to meet you, Casey. You're the only newbie around
00:17:27here. It's kind of easy to figure out. See you around.
00:17:37Hello? Good. You're here. What else would I do? Well, for starters, that stall could use
00:17:55a good cleaning. You can fill up the bucket over there. You're joking, right? No, ma'am.
00:18:01Some kind of labor therapy? It's work. That's why you're here, dear. It's slave labor. What
00:18:12about the horse therapy stuff, huh? That's for paying guests. I think there might be some
00:18:19kind of misunderstanding here. You're here on a work release program. No, no, no, no. That
00:18:25can be right. This is bull. Unless you want to go to Juvie. Come find me when you're done.
00:18:53I'm here. This freaking sucks.
00:19:00Ugh. Oh, thank God.
00:19:06Oh, thank God.
00:19:11Oh, thank God.
00:19:16Oh, thank God.
00:19:18Oh, thank God.
00:19:20Okay.
00:19:27Oh, yeah. That's not gonna happen.
00:19:37What, are you the horse police?
00:19:40You can say that.
00:19:42Hey!
00:19:44Rules the rules.
00:19:46It's a firehouse.
00:19:47I look around you.
00:19:48You can't tell me what to do.
00:19:50Oh, yes, I can.
00:19:51This is my place.
00:19:53I make the rules.
00:19:55Well, I'm not a guest.
00:19:56I work here.
00:19:57Yep.
00:19:58That makes me your boss.
00:20:01What?
00:20:01The pack.
00:20:03What?
00:20:04Seriously?
00:20:05Yes.
00:20:10Cell phone?
00:20:11I don't have one.
00:20:12No?
00:20:13Okay.
00:20:14My name is Rex, and you are Casey.
00:20:18I know everything about you, who you are, and why you're here.
00:20:22That's creepy.
00:20:23You really got a smart mouth on you, don't you?
00:20:26There's a couple of ways you can do things here.
00:20:29You can do it the easy way over the hard way.
00:20:32It's your choice.
00:20:33It doesn't matter to me.
00:20:34Honestly, this is a real fire hazard, this place.
00:20:38Whatever.
00:20:38You might want to try that nicotine gum.
00:20:42It's a good substitute.
00:20:44Yeah, well, not really, but anyway, it's better than nothing.
00:20:48Yep.
00:20:50Might ease the pain a bit.
00:20:56Come on.
00:20:57Now that you work for me, I'll show you what we do around here.
00:21:15Yeah.
00:21:15A horse is one of the most beautiful and graceful creatures on God's green earth.
00:21:24They're a lot like people.
00:21:27They like to talk.
00:21:28And if you're willing to listen, they'll tell you exactly how they feel.
00:21:35They'll tell you if they're nervous, or frustrated, or scared.
00:21:41That woman really knows her way around horses.
00:21:46Are those things she said, are they true?
00:21:51Every word of it.
00:21:54Are you afraid of horses?
00:21:56No.
00:21:56Why don't you get him up here and pet him?
00:21:58Right there.
00:21:58Good job.
00:22:03Almost lunch.
00:22:06But you've got some raking to do.
00:22:09There you go.
00:22:11Come on.
00:22:29Hey.
00:22:31So, how was your first day?
00:22:38Hey, Mike.
00:22:39They're too noisy over there.
00:22:43Well, you're more than welcome to sit here.
00:22:49She's new.
00:22:51She is.
00:22:52She's helping out around here.
00:22:55You shouldn't wear headphones at the table.
00:22:56Whoa, what are you doing?
00:22:57Mike, that's not polite.
00:22:59It's rude to wear headphones at the table.
00:23:02Seriously, dude.
00:23:03What is your problem?
00:23:06Casey, this is Mike.
00:23:07Mike, this is Casey.
00:23:10You shouldn't wear those in here.
00:23:12Well, I'm doing it anyway.
00:23:14But it's not polite.
00:23:16Well, I'm not polite, so it's perfect.
00:23:18What?
00:23:28Are you a counselor?
00:23:34Mike, Casey's helping out with things.
00:23:37She's doing chores, slave labor.
00:23:39No, she's not a slave.
00:23:40No, she's not a slave.
00:23:41That was a joke?
00:23:45That was a joke.
00:23:46All right.
00:23:47Well, this has been way too much fun, but I'm going to go get back to my slave labor.
00:23:52No joke.
00:23:53So, that wasn't a joke?
00:24:05No, that's not going to do it.
00:24:09No, that's not going to do it.
00:24:14Give it to me.
00:24:15Let me show you something.
00:24:20You carry it in smaller circles, always going the opposite direction of the hair.
00:24:26That's how you get the dirt out.
00:24:28See what I'm doing?
00:24:30They're horses.
00:24:31Aren't they always dirty?
00:24:32Not if you're brushing.
00:24:35There you go.
00:24:36You brush your hair, don't you?
00:24:43Even if it's dirty, you still brush it.
00:24:45Well, that's different.
00:24:46Well, they like the way it feels, don't you?
00:24:51You should talk to them, too.
00:24:53You gotta be kidding me.
00:24:57No, they like it.
00:24:58I know exactly what you're doing.
00:25:01You do, huh?
00:25:02What am I doing?
00:25:03Yeah, and I'm not talking to you, that lady, or this whore.
00:25:07I've been talking to you people for two years, and all it is is a big crock.
00:25:12I don't care if you recite the Gettysburg address to this horse.
00:25:15It likes the sound of your voice.
00:25:19It strengthens the bond.
00:25:21So with all the weed bubbles you've got going on in your head, you're bound to come up with something good.
00:25:26He might even think you're a nice person.
00:25:34Keep going against the growth.
00:25:36From the head to the rump and up the other side.
00:25:38Hey, Casey, how's it going?
00:25:52Pitchy.
00:25:54I heard you got him with the horses today.
00:25:56Wasn't he cool?
00:25:57Well, if you consider a day of chores and shoveling horse crap, cool.
00:26:01Hi, Casey.
00:26:02Hi, Claire.
00:26:03Hey, Mike.
00:26:04You getting some good horse time today?
00:26:06Yeah.
00:26:07I brushed my horse today.
00:26:10It helps build the bond between the two of you, you know?
00:26:12It seems strange to brush it in the opposite direction, but then you brush it down later.
00:26:19Casey, where are you going? Cabins are this way.
00:26:22Uh, y'all going.
00:26:24Um, how are you?
00:26:25How are you?
00:26:27I'm going to go.
00:26:28I'm going to go.
00:26:29Hey.
00:26:33True.
00:26:36True cool world.
00:26:42If there's a place where you like to be.
00:26:47If there's a perfect time.
00:26:50Time to live and trade in what occur.
00:26:55You see your face, you see your soul
00:27:00You take away the rust
00:27:05Wash away the dust
00:27:10You don't believe in their truth
00:27:14But in yours and your...
00:27:18Cow!
00:27:21Cow!
00:27:22Cow!
00:27:23Cow!
00:27:25Cow!
00:27:26Cow!
00:27:27Sure
00:27:33So how's horsey land?
00:27:35Shut up, you got a cigarette?
00:27:37I am
00:27:39Good
00:27:41I don't know
00:27:47Well?
00:27:48Yeah, well they've got me working here
00:27:51It's not therapy, it's a work release program
00:27:53You gotta be kidding me
00:27:55They got you shoveling horse crap?
00:28:01Still beats Juby though
00:28:03I don't know about that
00:28:04Well I do
00:28:05Trust me, you're way better off here
00:28:09You should see the people here
00:28:11I mean
00:28:13Half of them are dying or crippled or straight up
00:28:16Sounds like you fit right in
00:28:18No
00:28:23All the horses, you get to ride them or anything?
00:28:25I told you I'm working
00:28:27Shoveling, mopping, taking out the trash
00:28:31You?
00:28:32Yeah
00:28:33I hate it
00:28:37Well
00:28:39Let's get out of here
00:28:45Wait what?
00:28:46Off to Mexico, baby
00:28:47Off to Mexico, baby
00:28:48You and me
00:28:49Never look back
00:28:51And what then?
00:28:52I don't know
00:28:54Maybe a job at a bar
00:28:56I'll fish
00:28:58We'll figure it out
00:29:00Come on though, you don't need this
00:29:04Afraid of getting caught?
00:29:07Afraid of getting caught
00:29:09Who's afraid?
00:29:10We'd be in Mexico
00:29:14I think I'm gonna try and write this out
00:29:18You're crazy
00:29:20Just tell me about how much you hated it here
00:29:23Yeah, well I don't wanna be like
00:29:26A refugee
00:29:28You know, that's no better
00:29:30Alright
00:29:36You gotta get out of here
00:29:37Come on
00:29:40Just go back
00:29:41Take this, take this
00:29:42Come with me
00:29:43No, no, no
00:29:44Come with me
00:29:46I told you I can't
00:29:48You gotta go, alright?
00:29:49Go on
00:29:51Hey, if you change your mind
00:29:53Go
00:30:00Casey
00:30:04Mr. Kennedy
00:30:05I hope you weren't smoking in there
00:30:07I swear
00:30:08You lock everything up
00:30:11You know we have rules about late night visitors
00:30:14Visitors?
00:30:15Don't play me for a fool
00:30:17You will lose that battle every single time
00:30:21Left
00:30:22Thank you
00:30:24There's a reason we have the rules
00:30:26We don't have many of them
00:30:27But I insist
00:30:29That everyone abides by them
00:30:32Are we clear on what's happening here?
00:30:35Good
00:30:37Why don't you head back to the cabin
00:30:38But don't wake anybody up when you go in, alright?
00:30:41I will
00:30:42I mean, I won't wake anybody up
00:30:43Just go
00:30:45Don't make it
00:30:51Ah
00:30:57These instructions don't make any sense
00:31:06No
00:31:08You have it right
00:31:10I know I have it right
00:31:11But
00:31:12It just doesn't make sense of how it works
00:31:15Maybe I'll do something
00:31:19Hey, you wanna come try?
00:31:22Me?
00:31:23It's not really my thing
00:31:26Come on, you can't rake all day
00:31:29Be surprised
00:31:31You can share with me
00:31:37Mike, why don't you explain it to her?
00:31:41Take this, it's easy but you just can't think about it too hard
00:31:45Cause it doesn't make sense of how it works
00:31:48So, you put this part here
00:31:56No, you can't leave it like that
00:31:58You can't, you wanna just take it then?
00:31:59It's a work of art
00:32:00But you can't leave it like this
00:32:01Yeah, well I like my version, it looks great
00:32:03But it's not right
00:32:05It doesn't, you can't just leave it like that
00:32:07It's okay, it's a bridle
00:32:09It's a bridle
00:32:11You didn't try
00:32:12I can hear you, lean brain
00:32:14Casey
00:32:16Come here
00:32:29I didn't even do anything
00:32:31He's the one who kept going on and on
00:32:33The last thing I need is a hot head on my hands
00:32:35Yeah, well you saw how intense he was getting
00:32:36It was just so cold
00:32:37He has Asperger's, it's a kind of a
00:32:39Autism, yes, I know I'm not stupid
00:32:42He can't read people
00:32:45He's obsessed on details
00:32:47Intense
00:32:48Yeah
00:32:49Well if you know so much about it
00:32:50Then why don't you just lighten up on him?
00:32:53Huh? And if that doesn't work
00:32:55Just be kind
00:32:59Come on, let me show you something
00:33:07See those kids? You see them?
00:33:10Yeah
00:33:12Look at them
00:33:14They're carrying around all kinds of problems
00:33:17Big problems
00:33:19So?
00:33:21They look like they're feeling sorry for themselves
00:33:23Sitting back, blaming everybody else
00:33:26They're working hard
00:33:28They're helping each other, you know why?
00:33:31You've got nothing better to do?
00:33:33As long as they concentrate on hurting that horse
00:33:36They're not thinking about their problems
00:33:38Yeah? Well, as soon as they're down, all their problems are still there, so what's the point?
00:33:42You don't get it, do you?
00:33:44They're bigger than the hand they were dealt, that's what they understand
00:33:47Whatever
00:33:48What about all your pissing and moaning?
00:33:50Does that make your problems go away?
00:33:52How's that working for you?
00:33:54Every moment you've got is all you get
00:33:58You want to squander it all away feeling sorry for yourself?
00:34:03Be my guest
00:34:05But let's be clear about something
00:34:06It's a choice
00:34:08You're gonna let your whole life be defined by a single mistake
00:34:12You're gonna have nothing but a life of mistakes
00:34:15You know what?
00:34:17You don't know anything about me
00:34:20All you people think you can fix me, but you have no idea how I feel
00:34:24None!
00:34:25And you know what you are?
00:34:26You're just some dumbass old cowboy who thinks you have a clue about everything you're talking about
00:34:30But you don't!
00:34:31You don't!
00:34:32Let her go, she'll burn it off
00:34:49I thought we agreed when I started working here that I was gonna be the therapist
00:34:53You are?
00:34:55She's gonna be alright
00:34:58Yeah, but hell
00:35:00What does a dumbass old cowboy like me know?
00:35:05She needs a daddy
00:35:08And a short leash
00:35:12Yeah, tomorrow's another day
00:35:17God, I need a cigarette
00:35:18I need a cigarette
00:35:33Hey fella
00:35:37Hey
00:35:39Hey
00:35:41You don't wanna be here either, do you?
00:35:44They probably think something's wrong with you too, huh?
00:35:51We both know that's not true
00:35:54We're fine just the way we were
00:35:57Yeah, there you go
00:35:59Oh my god, this is amazing
00:36:02What?
00:36:04You're the first person he's let touch him like that
00:36:07I believe he likes you
00:36:10You wouldn't happen to have a cigarette, would you?
00:36:14Sorry
00:36:16I figured it was worth a shot
00:36:21Why is he so wild?
00:36:23He's not wild
00:36:24He was a racehorse
00:36:26Pretty good one too
00:36:28He just got old
00:36:31Don't they usually put them out to pasture or something?
00:36:34Not all of them
00:36:36Just the really great ones
00:36:37Blaze didn't make the cut, I guess
00:36:40So what are they gonna do with him?
00:36:43I'm not sure
00:36:45But Rex heard about him
00:36:47He rescues racehorses like Blaze
00:36:49Rehabilitates them and then finds them a new home
00:36:52Rehabilitate?
00:36:54Why?
00:36:56Domesticates is probably better
00:36:59I heard Rex talking about a dude ranch in West Texas that's interested in him
00:37:03You want to try brushing him?
00:37:07You people and your brushing
00:37:10It helps the bonding process, yeah I know
00:37:17Give it a shot?
00:37:19I don't see why not
00:37:20Good boy
00:37:40What a beautiful horse
00:37:43Yeah, he's strong
00:37:45I feel bad for him
00:37:47I feel bad for him
00:37:49Cause he's retired?
00:37:51They take horses like Blaze and they just start them before they're ready, you know?
00:37:57Before they're fully developed and when they're done with them they just...
00:38:03It's awful
00:38:04Yeah
00:38:06So Rex...
00:38:08Retrains them?
00:38:10More like...reprograms
00:38:14So I heard you and Rex talking earlier
00:38:17Sometimes he can be a little harsh
00:38:20Yeah, I hate him
00:38:22Oh come on, he's not that bad
00:38:24I beg to differ
00:38:26How long have you been working with him?
00:38:28This is my third year
00:38:30He started as a camper
00:38:32But I took to it
00:38:35So I came back to help
00:38:37You were a camper here?
00:38:39Yeah
00:38:41Feels like so long ago
00:38:43Yeah, my parents split up too
00:38:47I heard
00:38:49Does everybody at this camp know everything about me?
00:38:52I only know because Rex filled me in
00:38:54Of course
00:38:55Whatever
00:38:56I don't know
00:38:58Yeah
00:39:00Casey
00:39:02I know Rex can be kind of tough on you sometimes
00:39:04But...
00:39:06He's right, you know?
00:39:08You gonna try and fix me too?
00:39:10You know, maybe I like the way I am
00:39:13Huh?
00:39:15Maybe, and that's fine
00:39:17I mean, I felt that way
00:39:19But then I realized that it's easier to just deal with the pain
00:39:23Please stop with the mind games
00:39:27Just know that I'm here if you ever want to talk
00:39:30I've been there
00:39:32Really? You've been there?
00:39:34Well, not exactly what you've gone through
00:39:37But I've had my own set of issues
00:39:39Did you lose your little brother right in front of you?
00:39:44No
00:39:46You have no idea you weren't there, okay?
00:39:47I don't care, okay?
00:39:50Casey, but I do know what it's like to blame everybody else for your pain
00:39:54And to blame yourself
00:39:56No, you don't know, okay?
00:39:58You weren't there, I was there, me, you have no idea
00:40:01None
00:40:10I just watched it
00:40:13He needed help and I didn't do anything
00:40:15I just froze
00:40:18Casey, there's nothing you could have done
00:40:20Yeah, right
00:40:22You know, my dad's a firefighter
00:40:25He'd always tell us stories about going into burning buildings
00:40:31He had the right equipment and the right gear, he was trained
00:40:37No, it doesn't matter
00:40:39He would have gone in there and saved him and I didn't
00:40:42I didn't
00:40:44I didn't do anything
00:40:46I wanted to, I just
00:40:49I couldn't, I just
00:40:51I don't know
00:40:57I let him die so that I could live
00:40:59I could live
00:41:29I can do anything
00:41:31If I do in a bar
00:41:35I don't know
00:41:37You've never seen the scene
00:41:39I'm thinking that I could have done
00:41:41We've got the bus
00:41:43We've got the bus
00:41:45The bus
00:41:47We've got the bus
00:41:49We've got into a bus
00:41:51We've got the bus
00:41:53The bus
00:41:54We've got back
00:41:55you're okay
00:42:07fine
00:42:10we were worried about you
00:42:14I'm fine, just go to sleep, okay?
00:42:25Clara told me that Blazer
00:42:42taking a lycan to you
00:42:43you know about my problem
00:42:45you gotta retrain him?
00:42:48I gotta get him to stop thinking like a racehorse
00:42:51and start thinking like a riding horse
00:42:52well, how's that working out for you?
00:42:55oh, touche, good one
00:42:57good one
00:42:59no, you know what they say about difficult horses
00:43:01they're not stubborn
00:43:03they're just waiting for the right person to show up
00:43:07I could use your help
00:43:09Blazer could use your help
00:43:11I'm not a horse trainer
00:43:13I just brushed him a few times
00:43:15you don't have to be, it's all about teaching them to trust
00:43:19it can be a lot of work
00:43:21but it'll get you out of a lot of your chores
00:43:23huh?
00:43:25as long as I'm stuck here anyways
00:43:27so I'll meet you back here in an hour
00:43:29so is this like a promotion?
00:43:31an hour
00:43:33you hear that?
00:43:35I think we just got promoted
00:43:37you hear that?
00:43:39I think we just got promoted
00:43:41I think we just got promoted
00:43:43you hear that?
00:43:45you hear that?
00:43:47you hear that?
00:43:49okay
00:43:51you hear that?
00:43:53okay
00:43:55Hey, all right, remember to stay calm.
00:44:14Yeah, easy for you to say.
00:44:16He's a mirror, Casey.
00:44:17If you're nervous, he's nervous.
00:44:21You understand?
00:44:24Stay calm.
00:44:26Breathe, breathe in.
00:44:28Okay, go ahead.
00:44:30Stupid, why can't you just hold him while I attach the lunge line?
00:44:34Because it's not about the lunge line.
00:44:36It's about knowing that you're in charge and making him trust you.
00:44:41That's what it's about.
00:44:42Oh, God.
00:44:53Roger.
00:44:57Please.
00:44:58All right, that's it.
00:44:59Bring that lunge line with you and come on out of there.
00:45:02I just started.
00:45:03Just bring me the lunge line and help out of there.
00:45:05Come on.
00:45:06I can't waste my time.
00:45:07I thought you said you wanted to help.
00:45:10Huh?
00:45:11I do want to help.
00:45:12Hey, why don't you tell him that?
00:45:16That's stupid.
00:45:17If you don't care, he doesn't care.
00:45:20I do care.
00:45:22All right, let's try it again.
00:45:24Go ahead.
00:45:25Go for it.
00:45:26Do it.
00:45:27Take that lunge line and show it to him.
00:45:30I've got nothing to hide.
00:45:33That's what you want to tell him.
00:45:49There you go.
00:45:50There you go.
00:45:51Relax.
00:45:52Now you're talking.
00:45:55There you go.
00:46:00Just trust me.
00:46:04She did good, huh?
00:46:09You were right.
00:46:14We're in this together.
00:46:19Yeah.
00:46:30We're in this together.
00:46:47He spent his whole life running around a track where he was king.
00:47:11Now we've got to get him to slow down.
00:47:13Any other bright ideas?
00:47:15He knows you want to stop him.
00:47:16You're earning his respect.
00:47:18That's a good thing.
00:47:20He just keeps going past me.
00:47:23Shorten that lead.
00:47:24That'll help.
00:47:26Slow him down.
00:47:29Walk.
00:47:30There you go.
00:47:31There you go.
00:47:32You're doing great.
00:47:33All right.
00:47:34Give him some praise.
00:47:37Good boy.
00:47:39Good boy.
00:47:40All right.
00:47:41That was great.
00:47:43So let's do it again.
00:47:44Do it again.
00:47:45Come on.
00:47:46Let's go.
00:47:49Oh.
00:47:51Mike, come on.
00:47:56Here.
00:47:57I'm not used to going thirsty because I'm a jerk.
00:48:00Yeah, that makes perfect sense.
00:48:04Come on.
00:48:09Looks like you put in a full day.
00:48:15So you ever worked with horses before?
00:48:30No.
00:48:31Rex must have a lot of faith in you.
00:48:35Why is that?
00:48:36Letting a newbie work with a race horse?
00:48:40Parents would freak.
00:48:42Well, he must know my parents don't care what happens to me.
00:48:48That's a bit dramatic.
00:48:49Welcome to my life.
00:48:52You know, people care more than you think they do.
00:48:55I know that's not cool to think, but it's true.
00:49:01You know you really need to stop talking about things you know nothing about.
00:49:05Let's go.
00:49:22Blaze.
00:49:23Come on.
00:49:24Seriously.
00:49:25All right.
00:49:26Let's go.
00:49:27You know what they're used to doing, running on the track, not maneuvering in the real world,
00:49:33not like this.
00:49:34Well, we need to get him to act differently.
00:49:36We've got to get him to have his head down.
00:49:38They're looking straight ahead for that finish line.
00:49:41They're not aware of what's right in front of them on the ground.
00:49:44We've got to get his head down.
00:49:46No.
00:49:47Gosh.
00:49:48Come on.
00:49:49Get up.
00:49:50We'll try it again.
00:49:51Got to get his head down.
00:49:54Just get him used to walking like that.
00:49:57You know what I mean?
00:49:58Hm.
00:49:59Said I need to get his head down, right?
00:50:02Hey.
00:50:07You want it?
00:50:09Let's go.
00:50:10Come on.
00:50:11Right here.
00:50:17You want another one?
00:50:19Here.
00:50:20Come on.
00:50:21There we go.
00:50:22I thought I'd seen everything.
00:50:23There we go.
00:50:24That's a good idea.
00:50:25Come on.
00:50:26Right there.
00:50:27Yeah.
00:50:42Casey.
00:50:43Welcome to the world.
00:50:44Don't push it.
00:50:45Hey Mike.
00:50:46I've never had chicken like this at a ranch before.
00:51:03I wonder if it tastes different.
00:51:06Why would it taste different?
00:51:08I don't know.
00:51:09I just wonder.
00:51:10Mmm.
00:51:11No.
00:51:12It tastes the same.
00:51:13I'm sorry.
00:51:14Why?
00:51:15So, what kind of music do you listen to?
00:51:17I'm guessing you're a rock chick.
00:51:18And you strike me as a boy band kind of girl.
00:51:19I like pop.
00:51:20Top 40 stuff.
00:51:21Of course you do.
00:51:22And you?
00:51:23I'm right.
00:51:24Right?
00:51:25Yeah.
00:51:26I'm a rocker chick.
00:51:27Um, if you'll excuse me.
00:51:28The sloppy joes taste better here, and so do the hot dogs, but that's pretty much it.
00:51:34Have you ever heard of Phonolux?
00:51:35I love Phonolux, yeah.
00:51:36No way.
00:51:37Mm-hmm.
00:51:38Do you have your new one?
00:51:39Mm-hmm.
00:51:40Do you have your new one?
00:51:41Yes, it's my favorite.
00:51:42Who's Phonolux?
00:51:43No.
00:51:44I'm a rocker chick.
00:51:45Yeah.
00:51:46I'm a rocker chick.
00:51:47And if you'll excuse me.
00:51:48The sloppy joes taste better here and so do the hot dogs, but that's pretty much it.
00:51:55Have you ever heard of Phonolux?
00:51:58Yeah.
00:51:59I love Phonolux, yeah.
00:52:01No way.
00:52:02Mm-hmm.
00:52:03Do you have your new one?
00:52:04Nashville Skies?
00:52:05Yeah, that's my favorite whose phonologues
00:52:09Um, I just downloaded this one. It's really good. I'll find it for you
00:52:18She's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking
00:52:25She's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking
00:52:35I
00:52:57There's okay, she was choking
00:53:00She's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking she's choking you okay now
00:53:04I know Mike I know
00:53:08So why are you so upset?
00:53:12I just I should have done something this time
00:53:17Even you you got up and you got help and I just
00:53:22Should have done something
00:53:24I should have gotten home
00:53:26But you can't now, because it's over.
00:53:32Do it different next time.
00:53:56It's over.
00:54:26Can I have your attention for a minute?
00:54:37As you know, we've just got a few days left to camp.
00:54:42Me too.
00:54:44I need to tell you a story that you might not be aware of.
00:54:47You know Blaze, the new horse, is here.
00:54:50Of course.
00:54:51And he is a thing of beauty, to be sure.
00:54:53Well, what you might not know is that Blaze was once a racehorse, not long ago.
00:55:01And the very thing that made him a great racehorse are the things that make him a sorry riding companion, that's for sure.
00:55:09You've seen Casey and I working with him over the last couple of months.
00:55:14And what we were trying to do is get him to follow rather than lead.
00:55:18And to retrain him from all the things he'd done his whole youth, which is exploding out of a starting gate, even though his bones weren't even fully formed.
00:55:30It's one of God's miracles he even survived.
00:55:32Most of all is to get him to trust.
00:55:37And to earn that from a horse is a lot of hard work and a lot of heart.
00:55:44And that is exactly what Casey has done.
00:55:47Now, hopefully, he's going to be heading over to a riding ranch in West Texas.
00:55:54But we're going to have to prove to those folks over on that ranch that Blaze is ready for it.
00:56:00It's kind of like an audition.
00:56:02So, normally, I do that sort of thing.
00:56:07But I think Casey has earned the honor.
00:56:14And so, Casey, nothing would make me happier than if you present Blaze at his presentation.
00:56:22That would be curious.
00:56:23Way to go, Casey!
00:56:26Steve!
00:56:32We did good today.
00:56:36Mike said we can have tomorrow off and go on the trail ride with everybody.
00:56:40Get you out of the corral for a bit.
00:56:43But you have to promise to behave, okay?
00:56:46No galloping off.
00:56:48Casey!
00:56:51Dad?
00:56:54I had a couple runs out this way.
00:56:55I thought I'd stop by and say hello.
00:56:59I didn't think we were supposed to have visitors.
00:57:02Well, I already cleared that with Mr. Kennedy.
00:57:03He said we could make an exception this one time.
00:57:07So, it looks like you got it pretty good out here.
00:57:10It's all right.
00:57:12Come here.
00:57:14I want you to see Blaze.
00:57:17Blaze, this is my dad.
00:57:19Dad, this is Blaze.
00:57:21It's a pleasure to meet you, sir.
00:57:22I'm sorry?
00:57:24Uh, yes.
00:57:26I have been told about all the wonderful things that she's doing around here.
00:57:29And quite frankly, I couldn't be more proud.
00:57:31It's been pretty cool that you and Mom thought I'd be kicked out of this place by now.
00:57:37Well, I guess I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting that phone call.
00:57:41I'm trying, Dad.
00:57:46I really am.
00:57:49And I've been thinking a lot about things.
00:57:54I want things to be better.
00:57:56I know I've been messing everything up, but I really think they can be better.
00:58:00We can just start all over, you know?
00:58:06All we've got is what we've got right now.
00:58:09And I can make it better.
00:58:10I know I can.
00:58:11Everything.
00:58:14And you and Mom, you guys can get back together and we can all be a family again.
00:58:20Doesn't that sound great, Dad?
00:58:21See, I'm going to marry Kathy.
00:58:33But, but, Mom...
00:58:35Your Mom and I, we couldn't make it work.
00:58:37I mean, this is better.
00:58:38I know I put a strain on things, but you guys can work it out, right?
00:58:41You can fix it.
00:58:42Yeah, it is true, Dad.
00:58:44I know I messed everything up, but I will fix it if you give me a chance, okay, Dad?
00:58:49There's nothing for you to fix.
00:58:52This is so unfair.
00:58:53I don't know how you can even do this, Dad.
00:58:55Kathy, Tracy.
00:58:55Go away!
00:58:59Go!
00:58:59Hey, what the hell are you doing?
00:59:29Hey, what the hell are you doing?
00:59:59Hey, what the hell are you doing?
01:00:08Let's go.
01:00:38Okay guys, snacks are over here.
01:01:08So, Casey, how's Blaze been?
01:01:13I bet she's got her earbuds in.
01:01:16I don't have my earbuds.
01:01:18How's it going?
01:01:20You okay?
01:01:22I'm fine.
01:01:24Casey, you haven't been a jerk in a long time.
01:01:27You're not gonna start being a jerk again, are you?
01:01:31Sorry if I'm a jerk.
01:01:33Something happened.
01:01:35I heard your dad was here.
01:01:37Everything okay?
01:01:39Yeah, everything's great. He's getting married.
01:01:42Oh, wow.
01:01:44Oh, wow.
01:01:46You're not a jerk. I just don't want you to be a jerk.
01:01:50I don't think you're a jerk.
01:01:53So, do you like the fiance?
01:01:56She's fine, I guess. I don't really know her.
01:02:00I'm just stupid. I thought that you...
01:02:03Casey, you don't think I think you're a jerk, do you?
01:02:06No, Mike, I don't.
01:02:09Okay, good. Because I don't.
01:02:13You thought your mom and dad would get remarried.
01:02:17Yeah.
01:02:19You're as stupid as that, right?
01:02:21I wish the same thing about my parents were forever.
01:02:25Even after my mom remarried.
01:02:28It's not stupid.
01:02:30Yeah, well, as long as we're having this little group therapy talk, you know what really bugs me?
01:02:38That none of this even matters.
01:02:41Because as soon as I get home, the mess I made is still there and I...
01:02:44I can't do anything but fix it.
01:02:47That's not completely true.
01:02:49I can't believe I tricked myself into thinking that things could actually be different for once.
01:02:55You know what this is?
01:03:00This is just all a big distraction. That's what it is.
01:03:04We should catch up.
01:03:10No, just let her go.
01:03:23But she needs us to cheer her up.
01:03:26Mike, not right now.
01:03:30I don't like it when she's sad.
01:03:34Mike, do you have a crush?
01:03:40I think I'm jealous.
01:03:42Why?
01:03:43You're not my girlfriend.
01:04:04What's up, baby?
01:04:29What's up, baby?
01:04:31Be quiet.
01:04:32Check this out.
01:04:34You're gonna wake everybody up, okay?
01:04:36You're drunk.
01:04:38I'm not drunk.
01:04:40I'm feeling good.
01:04:42Are you ready, baby?
01:04:44Just give me a second.
01:04:46Are you seriously gonna choose a horse over me?
01:04:50Hey.
01:04:54Hey, you'll be okay.
01:04:57Rex will present you.
01:04:59Just listen to him and stay in the moment and don't run off, okay?
01:05:05I can't do this.
01:05:19What's up, babe?
01:05:21I said I can't do this, Cal.
01:05:23Wait.
01:05:24What?
01:05:25No.
01:05:26I guessed up and everything.
01:05:28We're headed to Mexico, baby.
01:05:30Come on.
01:05:31I'm serious, Cal.
01:05:32What is wrong with you?
01:05:34Sorry, I shouldn't have asked you to come away.
01:05:38You're not even gonna go with me when this is all over.
01:05:44No.
01:05:45You're not flaking out on me now because of a stupid horse.
01:05:50We're leaving.
01:05:51We're leaving.
01:05:52Now.
01:05:53Cal.
01:05:54No, I'm not coming.
01:05:55Cal, let go of me.
01:05:56You shouldn't be mean like that.
01:05:58Who's this?
01:05:59Mike.
01:06:00Go back to bed.
01:06:01Is he being mean to you?
01:06:03What's it to you?
01:06:05Casey.
01:06:07Are you leaving?
01:06:08We are.
01:06:09Now get out of here.
01:06:10No, Cal.
01:06:11I'm not leaving with you.
01:06:12Is he your boyfriend?
01:06:15Yeah.
01:06:16Well, you don't treat her nice.
01:06:18I can treat her however I want.
01:06:20Let her go.
01:06:21Mike.
01:06:22She doesn't want to go with you.
01:06:23Let her go.
01:06:25You gotta be kidding me.
01:06:27Okay.
01:06:28Party's over.
01:06:30Get out of the way, creep.
01:06:34What are you doing?
01:06:35When I tell you to go, we'll leave.
01:06:37Come on.
01:06:40Oh my gosh.
01:06:41Stop it!
01:06:43Get off of him!
01:06:46What are you doing?
01:06:47He's a freak!
01:06:48And you're a selfish jerk!
01:06:51You called me.
01:06:52Remember?
01:06:53Just get out of here.
01:06:56Oh crap.
01:07:01Come on.
01:07:02I gotta get home.
01:07:03or get in a hurry.
01:07:04We got to save those voices.
01:07:07No!
01:07:08I'm sorry, babe.
01:07:09I'm sorry, babe.
01:07:10No!
01:07:11No!
01:07:12No!
01:07:13No!
01:07:14No!
01:07:15No!
01:07:16No!
01:07:17No!
01:07:18No!
01:07:20No!
01:07:21No!
01:07:22No!
01:07:23No!
01:07:24No!
01:07:25No!
01:07:26No!
01:07:27No!
01:07:28No!
01:07:29No!
01:07:30No!
01:07:31No!
01:07:32Get the horses out of there!
01:07:42Make sure all the papers are accounted for!
01:08:02Where's Mike?
01:08:28Where is Mike?
01:08:30No! Hey!
01:08:46Mike!
01:08:48Mike, are you in here?
01:08:52Mike!
01:08:54Mike!
01:08:56It's me!
01:09:02Mike!
01:09:12Casey!
01:09:16Casey!
01:09:18Mike!
01:09:22Casey!
01:09:28How's she doing?
01:09:32She took in some smoke, but she's fine.
01:09:34smoke but she's fine. I spoke to Mike. He's okay. He was lucky. He had a guardian angel.
01:09:45Can we have a moment of privacy? Sure. You take all the time you need.
01:10:04Mr. Kennedy. I thought I told you you'd call me Rex. Two steps forward, one step back. You're all over the place. Save your lungs. There's nothing you need to say. What you did tonight. That's one of the bravest things I've ever seen. Ever. You saved all our horses. You saved Blaze. And then you go on and risk yourself to save Mike. You risk your life.
01:10:34I am so darn proud of you. And I can guarantee your dad is going to be proud of you and your brother looking down on you. He's going to be proud of you too. However, there still is a thing of how there was a fire in the first place.
01:10:51Mr. Kennedy. Rex. What happened? I don't know.
01:10:56We found your bag in the ashes. Now Mike and Claire, they filled us in on the details.
01:11:05Claire didn't know for much. But Mike, I don't think he knows what a lie is.
01:11:14You know, I warned you about sneaking out at night. I warned you about smoking.
01:11:18And I warned you about late night guests. But you do it anyway.
01:11:22I'm sorry.
01:11:26So here's the deal.
01:11:30I'm not going to let you show Blaze.
01:11:32Oh, but you even said so yourself. He responds better to me.
01:11:38I can't count on you.
01:11:40Oh, but you can.
01:11:42I made a mistake, but I can fix it.
01:11:44This is not a punishment.
01:11:46I just cannot count on you.
01:11:48So really what I need you to do is just ride out the last few days and try to stay out of trouble.
01:11:55And what the court's concerned, look at me.
01:11:58So far as the court is concerned, you've completed your program.
01:12:05And I'm not going to mention a word of this in my report.
01:12:09Casey, breaking the rules and always running away, that's something you do out of fear.
01:12:16That's who you think you are.
01:12:18That is not who you are.
01:12:21What you did on this night, that's who you are.
01:12:26And no matter where this life leads you, don't you ever forget it.
01:12:32You hear me?
01:12:33It's just not fair.
01:12:47I wish you wouldn't leave.
01:12:48I already called my mom.
01:12:52I hate seeing you leave this way, though.
01:12:55Hey, I like to go out with a bang.
01:12:59Don't you even want to see how Blaze does?
01:13:01Doesn't really matter anymore.
01:13:03You don't believe that.
01:13:06What I believe is that I always seem to screw things up.
01:13:10Blaze is better off without me.
01:13:12You saved Mike's life last night.
01:13:14You saved the life of every horse at this ranch.
01:13:18From a fire I started.
01:13:20You didn't start it.
01:13:23Yeah, well, he was here because of me.
01:13:27Do you blame yourself for everything because you really believe it's your fault?
01:13:31Or is it just another excuse to feel sorry for yourself?
01:13:36I'm sorry.
01:13:40I'm going to go see if my mom's here.
01:13:43And I'm sorry you had me to deal with.
01:13:45It's just I hate seeing you beat yourself up over this.
01:13:57Okay, you did a great thing.
01:13:59Why can't you just focus on that?
01:14:03You've got to stop holding yourself back.
01:14:05You sound like one of them now.
01:14:11I'll see you in a little bit.
01:14:11I'll see you in a little bit.
01:14:34Hey.
01:14:35Hey.
01:14:35I'll burn down.
01:14:42It's gone.
01:14:45Yeah.
01:14:48They say you saved me last night.
01:14:53So at least I could do to repay you for protecting me from Cal.
01:15:00They also said that you're leaving?
01:15:10Yeah.
01:15:13Please don't go.
01:15:16I have to, Mike.
01:15:19You don't have to.
01:15:20Yeah, I have to.
01:15:27We need to talk.
01:15:30You take away her opportunity for good, solid therapy so you can get a good presentation.
01:15:41And then when she makes a mistake, you start practicing tough love at the expense of the horse.
01:15:47I don't get it, Rex.
01:15:49Her daddy came here and kicked the legs out from under her for some reason.
01:15:55I didn't do it.
01:15:57Now we got ranchers coming here.
01:16:00They're on their way.
01:16:02And if they don't find a riding horse, it all becomes about money.
01:16:08And they will ship Blaze off the counter into a slaughterhouse.
01:16:13Slaughter?
01:16:16Now that's what I'm looking at.
01:16:19So I gotta step up.
01:16:21All I know is if she leaves here thinking she's screwed up everything again, I don't know if she's going to get another chance.
01:16:39What is it you always tell the kids?
01:16:42You fall off, you get back on again.
01:16:45It's not the fall that defines you.
01:16:48It's what you do when you get back up.
01:16:51I thought she did a pretty good job.
01:16:54Don't you?
01:16:56You know, I miss you, Mike.
01:17:15Well, if you stick around one more day, then you'll have less time to miss me.
01:17:21Hey, listen to me.
01:17:30This whole time I've been here, no one has been smarter or taught me more than you have.
01:17:38And there's no way I could have lasted this long without you.
01:17:44And last night, you were my hero, Mike.
01:17:51You are a hero.
01:17:56He punched me.
01:17:58Yeah.
01:17:59Well, you got right back up.
01:18:03You know, you didn't take no for...
01:18:09Those are the guys for Blaze.
01:18:12Yeah.
01:18:17You should be right in Blaze.
01:18:23I should.
01:18:29See you later, okay, Mike?
01:18:39Appreciate you, sir.
01:18:42Let's go ahead and get him in the barn.
01:18:59Hello?
01:19:01I'm writing Blaze.
01:19:03You sure don't.
01:19:05Blaze trusts me more than anyone.
01:19:07He stands a better chance with me leading him than anyone, and you know that.
01:19:13I am writing him.
01:19:20Well, if you're gonna do it, you better go get ready.
01:19:24Okay.
01:19:26Here.
01:19:27All right, let's go, buddy. Come on.
01:19:47You ready?

01:21:35Yeah.
01:21:36Blaze knows you his life.
01:21:39I don't know about that.
01:21:40He did great.
01:21:42Blaze did great.
01:21:43Yeah.
01:21:44That's right, don't they?
01:21:47Do me a favor?

01:21:50Give yourself credit for it.
01:21:51And enjoy it.
01:21:53Hi, Casey.

01:22:20All right, I promise.
01:22:23Okay.
01:22:24Well, I don't like this, so I'm going to go.

01:22:57Look at you.
01:22:57I mean, you were unbelievable out there.
01:23:01How did you learn how to do that?
01:23:02I mean, you were amazing.
01:23:04I mean, I was absolutely blown away.
01:23:07I seriously am.
01:23:09And Casey Neal told me about the fire.
01:23:12How are you going to be killed?
01:23:15What are you going to be killed?
01:23:16Baby, I'm just, I'm just so, so proud of you.
01:23:23I gotta go, okay?

01:23:34What you two did, under difficult circumstances.
01:23:38So, are they just going to take him?
01:23:41No, that wasn't meant to be.
01:23:45But I saw you.

01:23:48They offered me a better deal.
01:23:51The place was amazing.
01:23:53You said so yourself.
01:23:54The money is just little pieces of green paper
01:23:57I'm looking for a new home.
01:23:58That's all I did.
01:23:59So, what's going to happen then?
01:24:00You know, you got so many of your questions, Casey.
01:24:02You might want to talk to the man at the bottom.
01:24:04Standing right behind you.
01:24:06Okay?
01:24:09Dad?
01:24:10What?
01:24:12Are you serious?

01:24:32I can do that.
01:24:34And what about Mom?
01:24:35That was your mama's idea.
01:24:38Thank you, Dad.
01:24:40Just do me a favor.
