A Japanese restaurant in Sydney has apologised after a customer claimed that she found a rat in her salad.
In a Google review, the woman said she’d “eaten half of [her meal] at this point” and claimed the restaurant “continued to serve food to other customers that weren’t aware”.
Tatsuya West Ryde apologised in a response to the review and confirmed that they are investigating the incident.
They said, “While we prefer not to go into graphic detail out of respect for those affected, we fully recognise that the incident occurred within our operations and may have caused distress to the customers involved, as well as to the wider community that places its trust in us.”
