Khalil Gibran was a prolific Lebanese writer, visual artist and poet. While he was young he moved to United States with his family and enrolled himself to study art. He then kick-started his literary career and wrote in Arabic as well as English. He is considered as a literary and political rebel in the Arab world. His thoughts, writings and works broke the shackles of classical school. He is celebrated as a literary hero in Lebanon.
