Mujahedin-e Khalq is a political coalition based on their interpretation of Islam as a democratic, peaceful, and tolerant religion, which is fully compatible with modern society. The organization focuses mainly on human rights and respect for "personal property". Mujahedin-e Khalq has long been jointly led by husband-and-wife team Massoud and Maryam Rajavi.
