French court clears way for gay marriage

France's constitutional court has cleared the way for allowing same-sex marriage and adoption. President Francois Hollande has promised to sign the bill as soon as possible raising the prospect of the first gay weddings within weeks. Politicians adopted the law last month after a series of pro and anti street demonstrations.
