Four men under arrest in Turkey over bombings near Syrian border

Four men are under arrest in Turkey in connection with weekend car bombings that killed at least 51 people in a town near the Syrian border.

The twin bomb blasts fanned fears that Syria's civil war is spilling into neighboring countries.

Damascus has denied Turkish allegations it was involved in the blasts.

Turkish prosecutors sent eight suspects to court. Four were released while the others are being held.

It is still not clear what charges the four arrested men will face.

A total of 17 people have been detained in connection with the attacks and police are continuing to question the remaining suspects.

The arrests comes as Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan is in Washington for meetings with U.S. President Barack Obama
