Top 5 Tech Earnings To Watch: Cisco (CSCO), Applied Materials (AMAT), Brocade (BRCD), Agilent (A), Take-Two (TTWO)

 Cisco Systems (CSCO) is gearing up to report modest third-quarter earnings after the market closes Wednesday as the Reuters consensus estimate is currently 49 cents a share, which is an improvement of 2 percent during the same period last year. Wall Street, on average, expect the networking gear maker to earn 49 cents a share on revenue of $12.19 billion, according to analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. In the same quarter last year, Cisco earned 48 cents a share on revenue of $11.59 billion. After the bell Monday, Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO) is likely to post fourth-quarter earnings of 16 cents per share. Revenue is expected to be $280.5 million for the quarter, 89.4 percent higher than the year-earlier total of $148.1 million. For the year, revenue is expected to come in at $1.2 billion. Also this week, Agilent Technologies (A) will report earnings after markets close on Tuesday and analysts expect earnings of sixty-eight cents per share on revenues of 1.7 billion dollars. On Thursday, Applied Materials (AMAT) is forecast to report weak second-quarter earnings after the bell as the consensus estimate is currently 13 cents a share, falling almost fifty-two percent during the same period last year. AMAT last reported on February 13 for the first fiscal fiscal quarter of 2013, reported revenues of $1.57 billion, down 5 percent sequentially from $1.65 billion and down 28 percent from $2.19 billion in the year-earlier quarter. Finally, Brocade Communications Systems (BRCD) is anticipated to give a repeat performance of last year in this year's second-quarter earnings after the bell Thursday. The consensus estimate is currently 15 cents a share, the same as second quarter last year.
