Johannemann should have committed suicide on August 31, 2008. Barry Jennings, an other very important witness from heavy explosions in Building 7, died on August 19, 2008, a week before NIST finally released its report about the cause of the Building7 collapse. Johannemann zou op 31 augustus 2008 zelfmoord hebben gepleegd. Barry Jennings, een andere zeer belangrijke getuige van zware explosies in WTC 7, overleed op 19 augustus 2008, een week voordat NIST na eindeloos uitstel opheldering zou gaan geven over de oorzaak van die instorting. De oorzaak van zijn dood is onduidelijk.
