Grocery Store Use Burglary Footage in Commercial

A grocery store shows surveillance footage of a burglar in a commercial.

Surveillance footage captures everything - serious crimes to the ones that are comical.

Take for instance, a man in Redding, California who was caught by store's cameras attempting to burglarize Kent's Meats and Groceries.

The scene is absolutely hilarious featuring a middle aged male, who happens to be wearing a pair of lively pajama pants.

After pacing back and forth past the front glass doors, he briefly disappears, then returns with a cap pulled down over his face. Then he tosses something at the glass, shattering it. It would have been a nice burglary attempt had he not tripped and ran away.

The clip is so ridiculously funny, that the store used the footage, with added Benny Hill music in one of their commercials.

Late last year, a burglar broke into Twistee Treat ice cream kiosk in Ontario. Video surveillance shows the man heading straight for the soft serve machine.

He sticks his head underneath, opens his mouth and squirts some ice cream in. Then he heads towards the cash register, but quickly realized that it was empty before taking off.
