Notice issued to Imran Khan for violating ECP Code of Conducts (Elections 2013)
City authorities and the District Returning Officer (DRO) of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have issued a show-cause notice on Monday to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for taking out a rally in Lahore without prior persmission,
Rizwan Mehboob, DCO Lahore, said that PTI has violated election code of conduct by taking out a rally without permission from the local authorities. He said that ordinary citizens had to face a lot of difficulties because of the rally.
PTI has been directed to explain its position within three days.
