OMEGA - OM NA SHIVAYA

In 2006 comes the OMEGA project aiming to explore new sounds, colors, musical horizons and give listeners a journey of expansion inside. After years of different experiences, Rui Martins and Cláudia Duarte, combined to give wings to a project innovative in the Indian influence is widely perceived.
We want to create a bridge to a world of cosmic nature sound still little explored. The audience is invited to lie on the mattresses available and close your eyes, through an hour of continuous tone developed a meditative sound trip, where there is a deep relaxation and meditation through sound. This journey through the meditative sounds of the world is driven by ancient instruments such as Tibetan Singing Bowls, the Guzheng, the sitar, the Vibraphone, the rain sticks, the Sruti Box, a Tampura and Swarmandal, among others.
The main performances of the OMEGA project took place in the Zen Family in Sintra, the Macrobiotic Institute of Portugal; the center "4 Ventos" in Casal de São Pedro no Sobral da Abelheira; in "I Encontro de Alternativas de Sintra"; and in Tradicional Chinese Medicine School of Lisbon.
