In Mumbai, at least 41 people died - among them 11 children - when an illegal building collapsed.

Rescuers are trying to reach as many as 120 people still trapped in the rubble.

The first four floors of the block had been completed and were occupied. Workers were adding extra floors when the building crumbled.
