Victoria's Secret model Heidi Klum rescues son, becomes a superhero

Victoria's secret model Heidi Klum has gone from supermodel to superhero during a family vacation on in Oahu, Hawaii on Sunday.

Klum was celebrating Easter on the beach with her family and bodyguard/boyfriend, Martin Kirsten when her 7-year-old son, Henry, nearly drowned. According to the Project Runway host her son was pulled into the ocean by a big wave, the wave also managed to overtake Klum's two nannies.

The story has a happy ending though, as everyone was able to make it out alive. Klum claims her son's strong swimming skills saved his life, but the two nannies were not as agile in the water. Klum and Kirsten were photographed rescuing both women from the tide before bringing them to shore.

Heidi Klum has just begun a new job as an America's Got Talent judge alongside Mel B, Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and of course, host Nick Cannon. So naturally, the media has gone gaga over this sensational story.
