Taliban threatens to kill Pervez Musharraf

A new threat from Pakistan's Taliban --- this time directed at former President Pervez Musharraf who they say they will kill when he returns to Pakistan on Sunday after being gone for nearly four years.

They announced their intentions in this video obtained by Reuters.

SOUNDBITE: Adnan Rasheed, SENIOR MEMBER OF TEHREEK-E-TALIBAN PAKISTAN (Urdu):

"We have prepared a special squad to send Pervez Musharraf to hell. There are suicide bombers, a sniper team, a special assault team and a close combat team in this squad."

The group say they've ramped up their training in anticipation of Musharraf's return to Pakistan after four years of self-imposed exile in Dubai.

Asked about the the threat, Musharraf had this to say.

"They have been trying to send me to hell after 9/11 which means er, its 12 years now, so they haven't been able to do that so

The Taliban were infuriated
