Man Dies After Attempting to Jump in Pool From Apartment

A man dies after jumping in a pool from an apartment building.
Recently a 20-year-old man passed away after jumping from a fourth floor apartment.
He was reportedly attempting to leap from the building into a pool below. The tragic incident occurred at Student Suites near the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus.
The man landed on the deck and paramedics soon transported him to the hospital. He was declared dead the following day.
According to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office, he suffered severe cranial cerebral injuries from the fall. The manner of death was officially ruled as an accident.
Last year, a Colorado college student was left critically injured after attempting a pool stunt. The sophomore named Ian Smith jumped off of a three-story apartment complex and landed on the concrete surrounding the pool.
He encountered broken vertebrae in his lower back along with broken heels and ankles as a result from the harsh descent. Several onlookers urged him not to jump, but unfortunately, he did it anyways.
