Villages in Brandenburg are dying out as a growing number of people move away. A volunteer project aimed at revitalizing village life seeks to stem the flood. The situation is already improving in the village of Altkünkendorf, home to a population of just 200, thanks to the efforts of Hans-Jürgen Bewer. His work is funded by the regional government.
