Sri Lanka envoy on war crimes probe

Palitha Kohona, Sri Lanka's ambassador to the UN, spoke to Al Jazeera and explained his government's actions in investigating the war crimes.

He admitted that there was much to be done, but given his country's level of resources it would take time.

The envoy said that Sri Lanka has done an enormous amount of work, and this has been acknowledged by UN officials who have visited the country.
