Pope Francis held his first Sunday mass since becoming the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

He hosted the mass on Sunday morning at the Church of St. Anna inside the Vatican.

A conclave of cardinals voted him in last week during secret meetings inside the Sistine Chapel.

He is the first South American to hold Catholicism's highest post.
