The 28-9 LA Clippers will be the road team as they face the 24-11 Memphis Grizzlies in an NBA pro basketball game on Monday night. Tip off time from Memphis is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by the NBA League Pass Channel.

The NBA odds in this contest has the home team Memphis Grizzlies favored by -2 ½ points with the over under line of 184 points. There has been no movement in this line or total since the odds came out a few hours ago.

The teams met back on Halloween with the Clippers earning the 101-92 home win against the Grizzlies as a -4 point favorite. The game ended over 187 ½ points.

The Clippers have a road record of 10-5 on the season. Their three game win streak was snapped on Saturday afternoon in a 104-101 home defeat to the Orlando Magic as a -12 ½ point betting favorite. The game landed over 198 ½ points. It was a terrible fourth quarter by the Clippers as they allow Orlando to outscore them 29-18 in the final quarter. The team shot nearly 49% from the floor but lost the rebounding battle by six boards. LA allowed Orlando 48% shooting from the floor. Orlando was launching and making key three’s in the fourth quarter. The Clips are seventh in the league in scoring offense averaging nearly 102 points a game. They allow just 93 points and 43.3% shooting from the field ranking fourth in the NBA in these two critical defensive catagories.

The Grizzlies have a home record of 14-4 this season. They have been on the road a lot lately playing six of their past eight games on the highway. They met Dallas on Saturday night in a back to back spot and third game in four nights and drop a 104-83 decision as a -1 point favorite. The game landed right at the closing line of 187 points. It was a tough spot for Memphis as they are sent on the road after just one game at home that preceded a three game west coast trip. Those are the worst road games heading back out after one single home game with little rest in between trips. The Grizzlies did not shoot a lick on Saturday hitting on just 38% from the field in defeat while allowing Dallas nearly 49% shooting. Because of the situation you are going to have to draw a line in that game. On the season the Grizzlies are the number two scoring defense in the NBA by allowing 89 points a game.
