American police adviser shot dead by Afghan officer

NATO has confirmed that a US police adviser has been shot dead by an Afghan policewoman in the Kabul compound of the chief of police.
The death is the latest "insider attack" in which
Afghan forces turn their weapons on Western troops they are supposed to be working with.
At least 52 NATO soldiers have been killed this year in similar incidents.
