The 5-17 New Orleans Hornets will travel to play the Portland Trailblazers in an NBA pro basketball game on Sunday night.

Tip off time from Portland is scheduled for 9PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by the NBA League Pass Channel.

The teams met four times during the lockout season a year ago with Portland winning all four games and covering the spread in three of the games.

The Hornets are 2-7 on the road this season and have lost six straight games. Heading into their game with Minnesota on Friday they could not get past 90 points on the scoreboard in their past five games. They lose to the Timberwolves 113-102 as a +4 ½ point underdog. The team is near the bottom in scoring offense with just under 92 points a game. Ryan Anderson leads the Hornets with 18 points a game.

The Trailblazers are 6-4 on their home court. The Trailblazers have won two straight following a 19 point loss to Sacramento to start the trip. They come off the impressive 98-90 home win on Thursday night to the San Antonio Spurs as a +7 points underdog. Portland struggles on defense as they are worst in the NBA in defensive field goal percentage by allowing over 47% shooting from the field. LaMarcus Aldridge leads the club with 21 points and eight rebounds.
