The 15-5 New York Knicks will travel to face the 11-8 Brooklyn Nets in an NBA pro basketball game on Tuesday night. Tip off time from Brooklyn is set for 7PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

The NBA odds from this game will be out in the morning once the status of Nets center Brook Lopez is known.

The teams met back on November 26th and it was the Nets winning at home in overtime 96-89 as a +1 point underdog. The game landed under 193 points.

New York enters play winners of seven of their past eight games. The team is 7-5 straight up on the road. They bounce back from a road loss by eight at Chicago and defeat Denver at home 112-106 as a -4 ½ point favorite. It was an impressive win by the Knicks because it was the back end of a back to back, their four game in five nights and their first home game off a three game road trip. After all those negative angles against them the Knicks pull out he win and cover. In the win the Knicks allowed 100 or more points for the first time in seven games. New York have improved defensively.

With center Brook Lopez ailing the Brooklyn Nets has dropped their past four games. His presence is missed on the defensive end altering shots as New Jersey has given up an average of 106 points per game in their past four contests. They have dropped three straight home games. On Sunday the Milwaukee Bucks beat Brooklyn 97-88 as a -6 point betting favorite. Lopez is questionable for Tuesday’s game.
