It began in 1993, when the male, named Jan married a woman, Monica. They had encountered legal problems as Belgian courts doubted the authenticity of Monica’s birth and identity paperwork.
Fast forward 19 years later and Jan is devastated, as he just discovered that his wife was actually born a man and had a sex change. Monica had begun working full time and visiting nightclubs.
Rumors began swirling that she was once a male. Jan confronted her and she admitted that she was born as a male.
